What a fun event this was! Girly Girl Wines puts together a Girl’s Night Out event every month and this one was particularly special. The Drink Pink donation program helps raise money for a 3-day walk team. I was more than happy to donate some sweets and treats to the night.
We made wine infused cake balls! Treats for the adults! We made a Chocolate Cabernet Sauvignon cake balls with Girly Girls 2008 Cabernet and a Pinot Gris cake ball with Girly Girls 2010 Pinot Gris! So delish!
Keeping with the theme of the night we dipped out Pinot Gris cake balls in pink chocolate coating. And the Chocolate Cabernet cake balls were dipped in milk chocolate coating with a kiss of pink!
I must say that this is one of the coolest events I have made cake pops for. Shoes, desserts, and Girly Girl Wines…what more can you ask for!
When the ladies at Report Shoes approached me about their 1 Year Anniversary Bash, it was so hard for me to contain my excitement! So cool!
The ladies at Report Shoes picked 5 different shoes from their vast collection and asked me to make cake pops fashioned after each shoe (talk about creativity!). I was SO excited to design these desserts after thier shoes. The event went great and each highlighted shoe had its’ own cake pop!
Having Woodinville Wine Country at your back door is really amazing…and FUN! At a Socially Savvy blog cast event at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery I had the pleasure of meeting Brook the Sales Director at Patit Creek Cellars. One thing led to another and we were making Lemon Riesling cake balls and Chocolate Tempernillo cakes balls! YUM!
